Terrifying Video Of Attempted Abduction

A man tried to kidnap a 13-year-old girl from a Dollar General in Hernando, Florida Tuesday and it was all caught on camera. The suspect, Craig Bonello, was seen walking over to the aisle where the girl and her mother were shopping. Bonello then grabs the girl and tries dragging her out of the store. A tug-of-war ensues between Bonello and the girl’s mother before Bonello lets go and runs out of the store. Fortunately Bonello didn’t get far. The store manager was able to alert an off-duty sheriff’s deputy who just happened to be in the parking lot. The officer took him into custody. He’s charged with one count of kidnapping and one count of child abuse.
