Study Shows Sheep Recognize Faces

Scientists at a prestigious British university say they have taught sheep to “recognize” faces. University of Cambridge professor Jenny Morton, who led the study, released some video of the research. The sheep not only chose faces over a blank screen, they appeared to recognize faces they had seen before over other unfamiliar faces. Scientists hope the study may help them understand disorders of the brain including Huntington’s disease and other degenerative diseases.
