Stuck Ducklings Get A Helping Hand

A couple of newly hatched baby ducklings in Northern Japan were in trouble and one man came to their rescue. The video shows two baby ducklings crying as they struggle to get out of the pond with high edges. Their worried mother duck stays close. The president of a local iron and steel company in charge of the plaza saw the dilemma and decided to help. He installed a metal slope in the pond. One duckling approached the slope, climbed on and got out of the pond successfully! After about 20 minutes, the 2nd duckling finally climbed up and its sibling came over to welcome it. The duck family seemed happy to be reunited. The slope will stay in place until the ducklings are able to fly.
