People Rescued From Flooded Tokyo River

The Tokyo Fire Department rescued nine people from a flooded river in Tokyo. The stranded people ranged in age from their 40’s to 70’s. The area was designated as an evacuation preparation zone as super typhoon Lan pounded Tokyo with heavy rain and wind gusts as high as 100 miles per hour.
