JC Penney to Cut 600 Jobs in Plano

Two months into JC Penney’s transformation, JC Penney Co. says it has laid off 600 associates, or 13 percent of the staff at its headquarters in Plano. Britton Purselley the manager of Mama Pita near the Plano HQ is worried about what the cuts will do to business, while Dominic Federico says finding a job will be tough for those who have been laid off.
