Janet Jackson Visits Harvey Shelter in Houston

The pop star is performing at Houston’s Toyota Center Saturday night, so today she paid a visit to the George R. Brown Convention Center with Mayor Sylvester Turner. She met some evacuees from Hurricane Harvey who are still being housed at the convention center. Afterwards Jackson was headed to NRG Stadium to visit additional evacuees. Her brother, Randy Jackson, joined her for the visit. Janet Jackson is donating proceeds from the show to local flood relief charities.
