Hawk Attacks Leave Neighbors on Edge

A series of hawk attacks have residents of Oviedo, Florida’s Whispering Oaks subdivision keeping an eye on the sky when they venture outdoors. Resident Beverly Bonadonna said, “He hit me in the head and clawed me, actually knocked me to the ground,” Bonadonna said. She said the bird kept hold of her scalp while she was on the ground.
