Gator Missing Part of Jaw Humanely Euthanized

Florida trappers captured a wounded alligator missing the top of its snout after pictures of the animal went viral on social media. Wildlife officers said because it was so badly hurt — likely during a battle over territory with another — they felt they needed to put it down.
