Dolphin Rescued Near Port Aransas, Texas

The Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network (TMMSN), assisted by Seaworld San Antonio’s rescue team, successfully rescued and released the dolphin found stranded near Port Aransas, Texas. Rescuers were able to get to the dolphin and brought it onboard their boat for a medical assessment. They determined it was in good condition and enough to be released. They tagged the dolphin so it could be tracked and was then relocated to deeper water near the Aransas Channel.
