Cat Rescued From Pole

After nine days stranded on top of a power pole, help finally arrived to rescue a cat in Fresno, California. Electric crews shut off power for a few hours while they carefully retrieved the feline from the pole. The cat’s owner said the fire department and other agencies had declined to help. The kitty endured wind and rain, as he sat atop the pole for days on end. The brave cat was lowered safely to the ground in a crate and was in good shape.
