Artwork Destroyed in Selfie Accident

Russian authorities have called out a group of girls for “not behaving appropriately” after they caused valuable artworks to be damaged in a selfie accident. The girls are seen on CCTV footage in the vicinity of the temporary wall on which the paintings are displayed. Authorities believe she knocked the wall over as she was trying to take a selfie with the display in the background. According to the museum, the frame and glass on the work by Goya were broken while the picture by Dali was “destroyed.”
