Texas AG Calls for Foreclosure Freeze

The Texas attorney general’s office has sent letters to loan servicing companies, asking them suspend all foreclosure activities over concerns about the accuracy of foreclosure documents. It says the companies have until October 15 to identify any workers who participated in “robosigning.” That’s when a person signs thousands of foreclosure documents without reading them.
