In honor of Jan. 24 being "Change a Pet's Life Day" (What, you didn't know that?) Dallas Animal Services is hoping you'll do just that by adopting one today -- for free.The magic starts at 11 a.m. at both Dallas shelters -- 1818 N. Westmoreland Road and 16821 N. Coit Road -- and will last until 6:30 p.m.Adoptable pets will be spayed, neutered, microchipped and brought up to date on vaccines.
