A fountain at the University of Texas in Austin was dyed and tagged with graffiti overnight Wednesday, according to police.University police are investigating the vandalism at Littlefield fountain, which was tagged with the words “This is the blood of survivors that UT ignores” in red spray paint next to a drawing of a hammer and sickle.In their initial tweet Thursday morning, UT police said the spray paint and its removal was causing the fountain water to turn purple.
