New Owners Will Reboot InterContinental Dallas Hotel With Makeover

The InterContinental Dallas hotel on the Dallas North Tollway has changed hands and is getting a major makeover.The 15-story hotel built in 1981 was recently purchased Columbia Sussex, a hotel firm based in Crestview Hills, KY.Columbia Sussex is rebranding the InterContinental as the Renaissance Dallas Addison.The 528-room hotel has more than 100,000 square feet of meeting space, fitness center and spa.Design firm DiLeonardo is handling the makeover of the property which will be done later this year.Columbia Sussex is one of the nation's largest franchisers of Marriott hotels.  Continue reading...
