Friday has turned out to be the hottest day of the year (so far) with a high of 102 at DFW Airport. The Heat Advisory will expire at 8 pm for DFW, but will continue Saturday for the southern half of North Texas. A weak cold front will bring a chance for spotty showers Saturday morning, and will begin a trend of slowly falling temperatures.
