Man Set Fire to His Far North Dallas Apartment Because He Was Angry at His Wife, Police Say

A fire that injured two people and displaced multiple residents at a Far North Dallas apartment building Sunday was intentionally set by a resident, according to police.Luis Alfredo Martinez, 36, set fire to his unit at the Vista Buena Apartments because of a dispute with his wife, according to an arrest-warrant affidavit.Dallas Fire-Rescue officials arrived to the three-story building at 13350 Esperanza Road just before 3 a.m. Sunday.  Continue reading...
