Here’s When Dallas-Fort Worth Could Finally Get Some Relief From the Heat

The summer heat is expected to let up soon, but Dallas-Fort Worth could still hit the 100s a few more times. With heat index values expected to reach 110 degrees, the National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for North Texas until 7 p.m. Monday. Triple-digit heat is in the forecast for North Texas through Wednesday, then the area could begin to see a dip in temperatures, according to KXAS-TV (NBC5) meteorologist Grant Johnston. “The overall weather pattern though is showing signs of slow change, especially as we head to the latter part of the week,” Johnston said.   Continue reading...
