Former TCU Star Trevone Boykin Arrested Over Girlfriend's Claim That He Broke Her Jaw

Trevone Boykin, a former quarterback for Texas Christian University and the Seattle Seahawks, was arrested Wednesday after Mansfield police investigated his girlfriend's claim that he broke her jaw.Boykin, 24, faces a charge of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, Mansfield police told KXAS-TV (NBC5).Police did not release any other details.Earlier this week, Shabrika Bailey told WFAA-TV (Channel 8) that she was at Boykin's Mansfield home March 20 and that they got into an argument after she refused to show him a text message she had received."I remember him choking me and I'm trying to calm him down," she said. "And I just couldn't. And I blacked out."Bailey said she "woke up in a puddle of blood on the kitchen floor" and that Boykin tried to clean her off before taking her to a hospital.
