Driver of Disabled Vehicle Killed in Crash on PGBT in Plano

A driver was fatally struck Sunday night while tending to their disabled vehicle in Plano, officials said.The victim was outside their disabled Nissan in the eastbound lanes of President George Bush Turnpike west of Preston Road when another driver rammed into them shortly before 9:15 p.m., according to the Department of Public Safety.The victim, who has not been publicly identified, was taken to Medical City Plano and later died of their injuries.
