Dallas Rape Suspect Lured Woman to a Vacant Mesquite Home in Third Assault Allegation, Police Say

A man accused of raping two women in Dallas faces an additional charge after police said he raped a third woman in Mesquite.According to an arrest-warrant affidavit, 33-year-old Dralon Patterson lured a woman into a vacant home in January and raped her at gunpoint.The third charge was issued in March after Patterson was accused of raping a woman in a garage in Uptown in February, and police said DNA evidence linked him to a sexual assault case from 2017 near the West Village.The victim from the third incident told police she met a man through social media who identified himself as "Brandon Jones," the warrant states. He invited her to a home on Jan. 23, but when she arrived, a man in a ski mask and camo jacket ordered her into the home at gunpoint.The man raped the woman in the home, and told her not contact police or else he would "take care of her," the warrant states.  Continue reading...
