Dallas Police Looking for Suspect Who Shot Children's Dog in Red Bird

Dallas police are looking for a person they said shot a dog in front of its owners last month in Red Bird.The incident happened around 5 p.m. on Feb. 28 at an apartment complex at 4374 Woodhollow Drive, police said. Three children were near a dumpster in the apartment complex with their dog when the suspect approached them, pulled out a gun, and shot the dog in the face.The suspect, who hasn't been identified, ran from the scene.
