Dallas Officer Faces Assault Charge in Shooting That Killed Woman Driving Stolen Car

A Dallas police officer faces a criminal charge in the fatal shooting of a woman police say was driving a stolen car that rammed a patrol cruiser. Christopher Hess, 39, was one of the officers involved in the January shooting that killed 21-year-old Genevive Dawes, police say.On Wednesday a Dallas County grand jury voted to indict Hess on an aggravated assault charge.  Continue reading...
