Authorities Searching Field Near Richland College for Missing 3-year-old

The search for 3-year-old Sherin Mathews continued Tuesday with police concentrating their efforts in a field near Richland College. The field is less than two miles from her Richardson home where she went missing on Oct. 7 after her father, Wesley Mathews, said he put her outside in an alley around 3 a.m. as punishment for not drinking her milk. Authorities combed through the field near Greenville Avenue and Walnut Street on foot and used a drone to assist in the search, KXAS-TV (NBC5)reported.
