Arlington Man Was Driving Van When Police Found Kidnapped Woman Bound Inside in New Mexico

A woman who had been kidnapped from her Las Vegas home was found bound by chains in the back of a van driven by an Arlington man, officials said. The woman had been taken from her home in Las Vegas early Monday morning, Las Vegas police said. Jack Morgan, 31, of Arlington was named a person of interest the woman's disappearance. Police were looking for a white late 2000's model minivan with a sliding door and Texas plates. Tips led law enforcement to believe that the woman was possibly being taken to Espanola, New Mexico State Police said. About 11 a.m., state police stopped the van near Espanola. Morgan was driving.The woman was found in the back bound by padlocked chains and handcuffed. She had visible injuries by has been released from the hospital. Las Vegas police said the woman and Morgan knew each other in some way. Witnesses said she was wearing only undergarments when she was forcibly taken from her second floor apartment, the Las Vegas Sun reported.The FBI has taken over the investigation.
