Allen's New Convention Center and Hotel Opens to Draw New Business and Visitors

After two years of construction, Allen has opened the doors on its $91 million convention center and hotel.The 7-acre project on U.S. Highway 75 is designed to up Allen's game in attracting new business, visitors and meetings to the fast-growing Collin County suburb."We are taking our first guests tonight," project developer Mike Kennedy with Altera Development at Tuesday's grand opening.
