Dallas Closes All 397 City Parks Easter Weekend to Help Curb Spread of COVID-19

Dallas city officials say they are closing all of the city’s 397 parks during Easter weekend to prevent the further spread of COVID-19. Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson and Parks and Recreation Director John Jenkins discussed the decision in a news conference Thursday morning.
