Join NBC 5 and say thank you to our veterans at the Dallas Veterans Day Parade on Tuesday, November 11th at 11:00 a.m. on Main Street in Downtown Dallas.

The parade theme is “Honoring Our Wounded Veterans.” A massing of the colors ceremony in front of City Hall will begin at 11:00 a.m. The parade will commence following the official ceremony. The route will start at Reunion Arena, will proceed north on Houston Street, east on Main Street, south on Ervay Street, west on Young Street, south on Akard Street and pass in review in front of City Hall.
The parade route is similar to prior years. After passing in review, parade units will turn south on Ervay and disperse south of City Hall.

Veterans Day Just in case you guys are doing a Veterans Day special here is a photo for you. From left to right, my grandfather SGT Edwin E. Pokki WW2, my father SGT Edwin E. Veterans Day balloon release at whitney elementary prek k 1st and 2nd Hey weather man, our balloons had a hard time getting up high today because of the wind but it was so neat on the count of 3 we said thank you and released our balloons!
