NBC 5 Forecast: First weekend of summer brings the heat

Typical June weather for North Texas

NBC Universal, Inc.

The first weekend of Summer is bringing sunny, hot and breezy conditions. Stay cool!

The first weekend of summer is bringing the heat with highs both today and tomorrow climbing into the mid 90s. The heat index will range from 100 to 105.

The seasonal "heat dome" of high pressure in the upper levels of the atmosphere is situated nearby. This pattern will keep the area hot with mostly sunny skies and divert rain chances away.
