
An 11-year-old boy was killed when he was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Interstate Highway 820 in Fort Worth on Tuesday night, police say.
The boy was one of three children who tried to cross the at Camp Bowie Boulevard, Fort Worth police said. One other child was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Police said the driver who struck the boy stopped and stayed at the scene.
The southbound side of the highway reopened just after 8 p.m. Tuesday.
