Some Schools Serving as Polling Places Shut Down on Election Day, But Not All

Many schools across North Texas shut their doors on Election Day to keep students away from the crowds of people coming into the building during the pandemic. Some decided to stay open even though voters came inside. NBC 5 education reporter Wayne Carter reported from Bilhartz Elementary in Duncanville, one of the schools pulling double duty on Election Day.
