A 2-year-old girl died Friday evening after being hit by a vehicle.
It happened in the 4800 block of Parry Avenue in Dallas.

Dallas police said a relative of the child and the child were sitting on a bench in the front yard. That's when the toddler noticed a family member leaving the driveway, and ran toward the truck. The child was run over moments later. The 17-year-old driver was not aware that the toddler was running toward the truck.
Investigators have ruled this as an accident and no charges will be filed.
