Highlighter: Task Force Aims to Get More Teachers in Classrooms

Fewer teachers in the classroom have been a problem in schools with administrators and even parents sometimes substituting due to a lack of teachers. A new task force set up by Governor Greg Abbott aims to fix it but that task force was widely criticized for being set up after Beto O’Rourke outlined his education plan and for only having two teachers participating until now. Education reporter Wayne Carter sits down with the chairmen of the task force, a Dallas teacher.
