Abbott Says No to Shutdown, Tells Judges to Enforce Mask, Gathering Orders Instead

Gov. Greg Abbott said Texans “would not comply” if he issued a statewide shutdown, instead asking local authorities to enforce a mask mandate and limits on social gatherings enacted in early July.
