Community Conversations: Students Call for Change

NBC 5 continues our Community Conversations: A Call for Change. This edition takes us to the Richardson ISD where its students are leading the charge. About a month ago, a group of current and former students took a set of demands to the district’s superintendent. The list demanded changes the students believed are needed to dismantle what they saw as systemic racism in the district. Two of the students calling for change and the superintendent joined NBC 5’s Deborah Ferguson for a conversation about the demands.
