Community Conversations: Dallas' Boys and Girls Club Helping Students Learn

Virtual learning has been tough for many families. Some traditionally marginalized Black and brown families have faced greater disparities. Thanks to a grant, the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dallas is helping Dallas ISD recover students’ lost learning due to the pandemic. NBC 5’s Vince Sims talks to Kristal Smart the vice president of education at Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dallas and parent Kimberly White about the efforts.
