Community Conversation: Panel Discussion Sheds Light on ‘Colors of COVID'
The pandemic has shed light on many weaknesses, but none more than the disparity that Black and brown business owners face. A study conducted by the University of California-Santa Cruz found that 41% of Black-owned businesses closed, between February and April of 2020, that’s compared to 17% of white-owned businesses.
