Book Shows How Race Played Part in Shaping Dallas Highways

The location of Dallas highways may not always be based on traffic patterns alone. A Southern Methodist University graduate student found racial bias has also shaped the Dallas map. Collin Yarbrough wrote a book about it, titled “Paved a Way, Infrastructure Policy in an American City.” NBC 5’s Ken Kalthoff spoke with the author in today’s Conversation: Call for Change.
