My girlfriend and I were walking the dog after the rain. When I happened to look up and saw this beautiful double rainbow. This was in Los Colinas.

“Every storm in your life is followed by a Rainbow”. I see a Rainbow in all our life, after all of us struggling for 1.5 years from Covid-19. Double Rainbow means double hope getting back to Normal. Picture clicked from the front yard today at 8.26pm in Valley Ranch, Irving.

Right when the sun popped out last night around 8:27pm, I got this picture of a double rainbow! I have more too.

Yesterday I captured two simultaneous rainbow phenomena over my home in Las Colinas. Excuse the audio. My daughter and I were pretty excited. Both pink rainbows and double rainbows are rare. Pink rainSunlight is forced to travel through a thicker portion of the atmosphere during these times of the day. This only allows the longer red wavelengths from the rainbow’s color spectrum to be refracted. Double rainbows are also pretty rare. The light is being reflected back through the same water droplet twice so the second rainbow is an inverse of the main rainbow. Instead of ROYGBIV it’s VIBGYOR. To see the both together is ultra-rare.
