Twisters Reported Across Oklahoma

Several tornadoes touched down in Oklahoma on Wednesday as more severe weather hit the southern Plains.

Two injuries were reported in Wednesday's storms. Officials said two truck drivers were taken to hospitals when winds blew over their semitrailers.

Power lines were also down in some places. Kingfisher County Emergency Management Director Steve Loftis said the town of Kingfisher, about 45 miles northwest of Oklahoma City, is without power.

At one point, six tornado warnings covered Oklahoma.

The National Weather Service said it also received reports of a series of brief, small tornadoes in southwest Kansas. The service said they aren't related to the supercell tornado outbreak in Oklahoma.
