A Cold Weather Advisory will remain in effect through 9 a.m. this morning. Some light snow can be expected in isolated areas before sunrise with no accumulation or impacts expected in most of North Texas. Farther south, a major winter storm is expected to bring four to six inches of snow from Houston to New Orleans.
For North Texas, sunshine will return by the afternoon, and will continue the rest of the week. That will bring a gradual warming trend, with high temperatures back in the 50s and even close to 60 by the end of the week.
