Rain and showers are likely this weekend. Saturday will be chilly with highs in the upper-40s to lower-50s, with periods of rainfall.

Rain chances are on the rise across North Texas for the weekend. Expect highs into the upper-40s to lower-50s for Saturday. NBC 5 Meteorologist Kevan Smith has the latest.

Sunday's best chance of showers will be in the morning with showers clearing by noon. Highs on Sunday will reach into the lower-60s.

Monday will be dry and warmer with highs in the upper-60s, but a cold front will drop Tuesday temperatures back into the lower to mid-50s. Another round of freezing temperatures is likely Wednesday morning.
