A cold front combined with tropical moisture brought some much-needed rain across North Texas overnight Thursday.
The rain moved east out of the area overnight. Thursday afternoon will be dry with a return of sunshine.
By Friday, a cold front will sweep across North Texas, bringing in a gusty northwest wind, lower humidity, and pleasant weather for the weekend. In fact, high temperatures will be a bit below normal despite a good deal of sunshine.
