After Tuesday's much-needed rain, fewer showers and storms are expected Wednesday with a mix of sun and clouds this afternoon.
The best timing for scattered showers and storms will range between the morning hours through midday. The clouds will help to keep temperatures down in the middle 80s to lower 90s.
No severe weather is expected.
Showers and thunderstorms moved across North Texas Tuesday morning with a variety of rain amounts ranging from less than one tenth of an inch to more than two inches.
A small chance of storms remains in the forecast for Thursday and Friday, but they will not be as widespread as Tuesday morning.
Labor Day weekend will be dry and warm with high temperatures in the lower 90s.
