Texas Forest Service says there have been some evacuations were considered in Eastland County to due a brush fire that threatened homes in Strawn.
A change in the weather changed the direction of the fire and reduced the danger to nearby homes. About 200 homes were in the path of the blaze before it redirected.
Only one lane of west bound I-20 is open due to the blaze in the area of Ranger, TX.
The 1200 acre fire started around noon Friday.
