Severe storms brought significant hail to parts of North Texas -- the worst such hail storm of 2018 so far.
Several vehicles along Homestead Lane in Carrollton, near Old Denton Road and northeast of Interstate 35E, sustained serious damage to their windshields.
At least one vehicle’s back windshield had four separate holes punched through it by hail stones; one of the holes was larger than a softball.
Nearby, multiple vehicles were damaged on the lot of Classic Buick GMC in Carrollton, which sits at the northeast corner of the interchange with I-35E and the President George Bush Turnpike. That damage ranged from dents and dings to entire windshields being smashed in.
NBC 5 Viewers sent their hail photos from the overnight storms on June 6, 2018 to iSee@nbcdfw.com.
