An Arizona dog in a two-feet deep canal who couldn't climb out was rescued, but wiggled out of his leash leading rescuers to try to catch him as he ran through traffic. After 30 minutes, a good Samaritan was able to corner him. Fortunately, the dog is micro-chipped and will be returned to its owner.

The post explained that freezing temperatures over the past few days had frozen the water main that serves the park, and rangers have been busy breaking up ice that keeps forming over the tanks animals drink from.

"This ice has been busted four or five times a day since the weather got cold," the post read. "We love our boys very much, so no need to worry."

A photo that appears to show an inmate at Kentucky's Boyd County Detention Center in a guard's uniform has been confirmed by officials. Officials say the photo shows Brandon Scites standing in a jail cell with clothing worn by guards.

The park, located outside Amarillo, should see a thaw Wednesday as temperatures are forecast to reach the mid 50s.

Loyal customers of a Montgomery, Alabama Taco Bell destroyed by fire held a candlelight vigil Sunday night. The restaurant partially collapsed after catching fire. About 100 people came out in support of the location, paying tribute and remembering their favorite Taco Bell. The owners plan to re-open and thanked the community for their support.
