Live radar will appear in the player above. A Flood Warning remains in effect for parts of North Texas.

Widespread light to moderate rain will continue on and off through Friday, however rainfall rates are unlikely to be heavy enough to cause flash flooding.

This wet and chilly weather pattern will continue for the next few days. While the rain may not be as heavy or widespread as it has been, you will still need to keep the rain gear handy.

Widespread totals of an additional 1 to 2 inches can be expected. Isolated amounts in excess of 3 inches will also be possible.

While it won't rain all day, waves of rain will occasionally roll through the area. See the latest forecast below. Watch the latest forecast update below.

The latest video forecast from NBC DFW's team of Weather Experts will appear in the player above. Keep up with the latest changes to the weather by downloading the NBC DFW smartphone App for iOS and Android!

Since the ground is saturated, if you encounter flooded roadways, remember to "Turn Around, Don't Drown."

When Will the Rain End?
It is officially the wettest fall on record. We are also only half way through the month of October and it is already the second wettest on record. A persistent weather pattern has caused rain every day since last Friday. The big question is, when does it end? Meteorologist Samantha Davies has that answer.
