Storms that caused the National Weather Service to trigger Tornado Warnings left a trail of damage in the Hill County town of Hillsboro Saturday.

Texas Sky Ranger took an aerial tour of Ellis and Hill Counties after the storms cleared out and found at least two homes destroyed.

Texas Sky Ranger took a tour of storm damage reported in the Hill County town of Hillsboro.

One home appeared to have the worst damage, with windows, walls and the roof torn apart.

That home belonged to Kateri Martin and her family.

"You could hear like a choo choo train going through," said Martin. "It was loud and it was so frightening. Our dogs were just shaking."

Martin says she and her family all crammed into the bathroom in her home while the storm ripped through.

Martin's daughter says her brother nearly didn't make it back inside in time.

"He had been out in the carport and he almost got sucked up by the tornado, but he was able to hold on to my fathers trike and get inside somehow," said Kristin Cunningham. "I dont know... by the Grace of God."

A nearby smaller building was leveled, a pontoon boat was knocked off its trailer and an RV was tossed.

Martin says she is just so thankful she and her family made it through alive.

"Whats next? Pick up the pieces and go. What else can you do? Like, it could have been so much worse."

Another home nearby had extensive damage along the roof and outdoor furniture had been tossed. No injuries were reported.

The National Weather Service did issue a Tornado Warning for Hill County Saturday afternoon, but storm teams will have to assess the area and determine if the damage was caused by a tornado or straight-line winds.
