Strong winds destroyed a large metal silo in Frisco and may have damaged a second silo next to it.
The silos are landmarks in Frisco. They're located along Main Street at the railroad tracks.
The destroyed silo has been out of service for years.
It was reduced to a pile of twisted metal.
The city taped off the site Tuesday to keep the public back.
Electric crews were working in nearby neighborhoods to repair downed power lines.
Wind also uprooted trees and damaged fences and homes.
